A virtual property tour is a collection of 360 degree images which are displayed in such a way that it looks like you are really in the room of a property. You can interact with it to move the view point, much like looking up or down or rotating your head as if you’re really there. You can also move from room to room using either the thumbnails along the bottom, or you can add handy arrows between them like Google Street View to walk through the property.
You only need a 360 degree camera, a monopod to mount it on and a smartphone to pair it with to take a photo in each room. If you do not already have the required kit, there is an option to add what you need at the checkout when subscribing.
It takes only a minute per room to take a photo and then 5 minutes to fill in the form on the website to add your virtual property tour. After uploading your images it takes around 5 minutes to be available for sharing on the web. If you take your photos at the same time as performing your initial walk around the property, it wont actually add any more time to your workflow!
